Distinctly Dutch, Ltd., a Chicago-based company, provides high quality English into Dutch and Dutch into English translation and interpretation services in a variety of fields. Because we are native speakers, we are in tune with cultural and linguistic nuances between the various regions where Dutch is spoken. Our company limits itself to Dutch translations and interpretations because we do not want to be all things to all people. We like to stick to the one language we know really well.

Distinctly Dutch was founded by Diane Van Hoof-Sisodia, Ph.D., a native speaker of Dutch and a translator/interpreter since 1994. Dr. Van Hoof-Sisodia is a member of the American Translators Association (ATA) and CHICATA (Chicago Area Translators and Interpreters Association). She has worked in academia for 10 years, teaching writing and literature courses. She also developed a series of Dutch language courses for the Belgian Embassy in Washington D.C. and a course entitled History and Civilization of the Low Countries for the College of Notre Dame in Maryland.
